Hi all!

It's been a while but Tamara will be breaking out the DO's. She'll be making Breakfast Potato casserole & DO French Dressing Chicken for dinner. We're looking forward to being with everybody again.

We won't be arriving until late Friday so we won't be able to join everyone for Mexican food :( .

See y'all Friday!

W/E only, unfortunately.  We used to think no hook ups was roughin' it.  Now having no sewer hook up falls into that category, LOL!

Re. potlucks, best thing to bring is a hearty appetite! :D

LOL--you are so right.  Been a long time since I used that tote.  Glad someone asked. I don't think I would have brought it otherwise.

Anyone want the two we used to use?  We'll bring it with us.  It's yours for the taking.  :)

I know we are late, never seams to be enough time to plan outing in advance.

OC Campers

Sorry guys but we are going to have to cancel.  I just can't make it work.  Everytime I tackle one problem, another one pops up.   Patricia, do you want me to call the campground and cancel.  Maybe since it is still 5 days away they will give us a credit.  I would really like to try this place out.

Sorry, I was so looking forward to seeing everyone.  I guess we will just have to wait till Ccachuma.

Hi!  (Do we know you by another name?)  Space #17 has been vacated by Camping Coxes.  If you want it, please e-mail me today at mpwatling@yahoo.com before I call Far West to cancel that spot.  Let's see if we can get Trina her money back. :)

Folks, here's the updated list on our SCCamper site:

Ugh, they're dropping like flies!  This is exactly why I held off depositing all the checks until last Friday.

Jacqui, I'll call Far West.  Will wait another day or two for any other dying flies we might have.  Their policy is an $8 cancellation fee.

Patricia, I've email 2 families that are local to see if they're interested in going. I'll keep you posted. Email me you phone number so I can call you if they respond positively.

Just curious--which freeway route would be the easier or better way for us Southerners to go: the 5N to the 126W, or the 5N to the 101N to the 126E?

Hi Tony!:W

I remember your interest in the Temeucla trip. It was too bad there were no more spots, but it looks like you and your family just may be in luck for this one! Hope you can join us!!

Sorry to hear that Trina and Jacqui won't be able to make it. I know Griffin will be very :( to not have Maffew there. Hopefully we'll still see everyone in December--Ccacchuma or bust!!!:D

SimiRich

Bill,

Which route are you taking from T.O.? I'm thinking of taking 118 to the 126 & up. Do you know of anything different?

For the southerners - I would think taking the 5N to the 126 is the best. You want to avoid the 101 at all costs

Sorry you missed out at Temecula, but you're in now!  I'll e-mail you about sending the check directly to Trina, since that site is already paid for.  We'll see you in 4 days! :)

That leaves just Jacqui's spot to fill.  Any takers?

BTW, I'd imagine the 5 directly to the 126 would be the better way to go.

Hey, TOS, do we finally win "Closest To The Rally" award?  Or is it too close to call measuring as the crow flies?

Rich, I was planning on going down 23 to 126 and west from Fillmore. I hate backtracking. What time are you planning on leaving? I have a Dr's appt. in the morning and was planning on leaving about 11:30.

Lori, I would recommend avaioding the 101 and go straight up the 5 to 126.
