QuoteAccording to the previous posts, SimiRich wanted 7. I would prefer 4, 5 or 6 if possible.

Yup, SimiRich is in Cedar 7, I m in 8, Dee s in 19.  We re all in Cedar.  You want to be in Alder, and it s Alder 7 that is right next to the bathroom.  Alder 10 is the camp host.  Looks like you want Alder 4, 5, or 6.  Will check back here in half an hour or so to see if you ve posted before I call them to book you a site in Alder.   Clearer than mud? [:D]

oldmoose

oldmooseHold off for now on making any reservations. I thought we were all going to be in Alder.

oldmoose

oldmoosePatricia I ve just been having a big brain fart. If I could only read what you ve posted correctly, I d know what was going on. We ll take site 10 if that is still open. Boy someone better slap me.

Cottonwooder

oldmooseWhew, Moose, just in time!  I was about to pick up the phone to call them.  So sorry for not being clear when I said " we got the sites we want" .  I was referring to Cedar 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 19, since Alder is almost totally booked.

If you want to stay in Cedar with us and the stairs are a problem for Paula, we have two remedies for her:  Borrow our small portapotti for the weekend (it s pretty new, bought only in March) or just come in each time and use our bathroom.  Not a problem! [:)]

oldmoose

oldmooseBook us in site 10 in Cedar with everyone. Leaving my office now. Thanks for everything.

 oldmooseThanks Patricia!!!  You Rock

Let me make sure I ve got it down. $18/night $3/per xtra person. I m assuming the rate is for 2 people so a family of 4 is $24/night. Dan says I m mathematically challenged so I m just verifying so I tell him the right amount.

also Clubhouse is " free"  for 6 hrs?? can we reserve for Sat. Potluck?  I ve camped alot in Nov. and it has rained at least half the time.  but then again old moose and I have a great " no rain dance" .

let me know when you want $$$$$$

above you mentioned Simirich #7, You#8 me#19 oldmoose#10 I m assuming Griffsmom #9 and Mickey & family #11....this means means mucho fun and all spots booked Wooohoo!! Do they still have openings in ceder if we need more?

QuoteThanks Patricia!!! You Rock

First time someone said that to me, I thought it was an insult, as in they were calling me as dumb as a rock, LOL!

D, the rate covers up to 4 people per site.  You guys are fine!  And yes, I d like to snag that clubhouse for the potluck.  The only drawback would be having to cart everything up the stairs... unless we load everything into one vehicle and drive the few yards up there.  That would work too.  If no clubhouse, the big spaces between 7 and 8 would do fine for our potluck.

All 6 sites taken already?  I ll get more if anyone posts interest within the next week or so.   Any time we ve gone to Far West, we call just 2 or 3 days beforehand and have always gotten a site, so am not worried.

 Mikey and Family--Site #11
 dee4j--site #19
 Definite Maybes
Griffsmom depending on how Dave s trial goes--Site #9
gsm x2 and G-Whiz--so close would be hard to miss

Please let me know if you have anything different.  Sorry we can t make a commitment at this time.  Glad you got the six without us.

gsm x2TOS, what you have is how I understand it.  If anything is incorrect, folks, HOLLER!

Thanks for putting the Web page together.  I ve now included your link at the top of my very first post.  That was made only 6 days ago, and look at what we have already.  [:)]

oldmooseDo we want to try to put this on the rally section or leave it where it is? Thanks Patricia for being wagonmaster.

oldmoose

Guest/Moose---Dave and Steve have asked that weekend events like this one NOT be put on the Rally Page.  That s saved for " More than a weekend"  Rally.  That s why we pushed the Cchristmas at Ccacchuma Rally to four days.

Camping Coxes

gsm x2Is it too late to tag along?  I ve been wanting to go to Far West (that s where I was headed when Randy and Jacqui talked us into going to Malibu with you guys!).  Let me talk to Paul and see what he thinks.  Let me know if there s room to add us to the line up.

Man, you go camping for the weekend and all this happens while you re gone!  guess I better check in more often.

oldmooseWe just got back from Far West resort this past weekend. It was nice and quiet, lots of wild life running around. We stayed in the Birch Grove section with W & E. The restrooms were clean and 2 showers were 3/4 bathrooms, Toilet Sink and Shower. They have a clubhouse, big barbeque area and the hosts and staff were really nice. They have a petting zoo, video rentals and ice cream, even though it was only and overnight stay for us, we would have liked to stay longer. If you have a Good Sam card you do get a discount. It cost us $20.18. Enjoy your rally. You picked a nice spot.
