OC Campers

Paula was suggesting having a gathering Friday evening at our campsite and having a dessert bar. This way the "new campers" to our group could meet everyone. I would be willing to make a pineapple upsidedown cake and an apple dessert-of course in a Dutch oven. What are your thoughts?

Sounds like fun to me, I just don't know what time we will get there.  I am sure the traffic is going to be horrible.  I doubt we will be able to leave OC till 4pm at the earliest.

We'll see everyone when they get there. When it happens, it happens. This is camping time and it is subject to change without notice.

We have some friends who would just love to join us all this weekend, but as of today, Yucaipa is completely sold out!

If anyone has a last minute cancellation, or is in one of the sites that can accommodate 2 rigs (I don't know which ones those are) and wouldn't mind either switching with us (we're in site 21) or sharing, please let me know!

This is a great family who loves to camp and has a hybrid, so they'd fit right in!

Thanks!

Whatever the Mooses (Meeses? --- you know what I mean  ) make in a DO then we're there.

Tamara will make Moose's DO Peach Cobbler for Fri. night & her DO Potato Casserole for Saturday's beakfast. Saturday night she's making DO Lasagna. Oh the bliss!!:)

Hi all!  I can't believe it is almost campin' time again.  We'll definitely be there for the Saturday morning and evening potlucks.  I'm still pondering on what to bring though.  As far as arrival time on Friday night...I'm thinking it will probably be late but Jim is going to get there first to do the set up (my kind of camping!) We are looking forward to another fun rally.

DH is working late every nite to make up for the missed day on Fri. The hopes is top pick the kids up at school around noonish, but with all the school projects that require my help (Science Fair and artsy fartsy state report) not to mention the yearbook, I haven't even began to get ready for the trip. I will be getting 1/4 cord of wood delivered tomorrow :D

I'd be happy to show you. I'll bring my GPSr. Unfortunately there's not many close caches by the campground that we could go find but I'll know better when I get to that area.

See you Friday!

Anyone planning on fishing?

Just found out Paula's step dad was taken to the hospital this morning. No info on what the problem is yet. Everything is now on a tentative hold.

Sorry guys, but we have to cancel. Paula's step dad passed away this morning and we have to go to the SF Bay Area.

FYI, I have transfered my reservation to Rich's in laws. We'll miss you guys, but life must go on. I did save $40 as I don't have to buy a fishing lisence.

Bill and Paula,

I e-mailed you privately as well, but just thought I'd let you know again how sorry I am to hear of your loss. You are part of our family and we care about you and share your sorrow. I hope the adage that "a sorrow shared is a sorrow halved" holds true. You're in our prayers.
