As for what we're making for the Saturday potlucks, I think I'll make pancakes and sausage for breakfast and DO chicken enchiladas for dinner. But that's not completely confirmed yet.

Yumm, that sounds good.  Will you eat an enchilada for me.  Oh yeah, and drink a couple of margarita's too:! .  Oh and if Moose makes his key lime martini's drink one of those and and and.  Dang I better slow down or you will be staggering the whole weekend.  Have a great time, we will miss not being there with all of you.

We have one more adult coming. Our son called me last night and the pistachio/almond harvest is over early, so we'll have the whole family together. He's been going 12/7 since August 1, so he'll have a fine time relaxing. Still not sure what we'll be doing for the potlucks, but will definitely be making a new chocolate cake recipe.

Actually it's rinse it before dessert to get the margarita taste out, then the milk and then back to the margarita's.:!  Sure glad I don't have to drive. Just point me in the right direction.

I hate to be a pain...but does anyone know what time the shared Saturday breakfast is..do we have to get up at 6:00 a.m. to get prepared for this event. I think I am going to fry up about 3 lbs of bacon and if its too early we wil skip breakfast... for the dinner Potluck I am going to make a big pot of chili beans. I hope this will be o.k.  I am new to this but want to fully participate.  Only 4 more days... We are really excited about meeting eveyone finally!!! I quessed about 70 kids for trick or treating.. any one have a more accurate accounting.

We usually try to have breakfast around 9:00 or so.  It's a very casual thing and there's no requirement that you participate--if you'd like to join us you can, but if you'd rather sleep in, then you'll be in good company, right Dee?

We'll be doing a Country Cobbler for the Sat AM potluck and if I can find it, a pork loin with spinach stuffing for dinner. We'll do a chocolate cake for dessert.
 
Due to my wife's fatal allergy to peanuts, please let us know if any item has peanuts or peanutbutter in it.
