Hi again

We are thinking about going camping on Presidents Day Weekend which is Feb.17 to Feb.20 , 2006.
Helga and I are both of from work that friday and monday,so it would be a long weekend.
Was thinking about Pine Groove, PA. They had the nicest/warmest bathhouse I've ever seen, but we haven't commited ourselves to that yet.

I am interested, but I will not make reservations until it gets much closer.  Funny thing I am taking my PU to the dealer as soon as I post this.  :)

Hey andy - that log cabin bathroom is the BEST. I know this will sound strange, but that bathroom is one of the reasons I like Pine Grove. If I can get the camper out of the backyard (it's on a slight incline downhill which is a soft spongy mess of grass right now), you can count me in. Pine Grove is where I planned to visit in Feb / March, and having you guys there will make it all the better!

Heading to work one day, I saw a Toyota Tundra pulling a TT get into a serious sway and flip itself right off the side of I-84. I of course stopped and called the FD / PD on my radio. Turns out it was a Rayewood driver in their truck transporting a TT. The TT separated from the truck and he rolled it a few times. I called Rayewood on my cell, and the owner said if I ever needed anything he would hook me up. I never took him up on the offer. Rayewood has a good service dept IMO. They fixed the Taos' door during that fiasco. They're high on their camper prices, but the service is top notch. My job is not too far from there.

Hi Tracy and Rick

It would be great if you guy's would be there.

Tracy,it's only 5 weeks from today!

Rick, the lady (Glenda) in the service dept. at Rayewood comes from Newburgh , NY!

I'm planning on going. This is the state park right? I need to order my bunk end covers and buy a mr buddy heater.

No it isn't the state park.:( We are talking about the Pine Grove KOA / Twin Grove Park. Here is a link for the park.

I hope you can still join us.:)

Andy I added a link for the campground in your original thread.  Since you are running this trip :D  you get to keep the list of people going/planning on going current.:)

KOA is even better. My wife is more interested.

Tracy, Winter Madness sounds good to me,that about describes it.
The problem with the roof was not so much the sagging, but it seemed to be "bowing" in the front and the front bunk would get wet while driving in the rain.It appeared to be more of a problem when it was hot during the summer. When I went to Rayewood,it wasn't so obvious ,but they said they would try to get a roof for me and they did.
I really would have preferred to keep the roof since there have been some negative posting about workmanship(not Rayewood, they come highly recommended) in general, etc. but I didn't want to hold off on it any longer.

That is the same problem I had with my roof.  They had put 2 layers of truck cap sealing tape on the front of the box to help seal it when I towed in the rain.  I miss my old roof.:(

I want to make my reservations. Are there better sites than others? Did anyone else make reservations?
Thanks

Lee we shouldn't have any problem getting a site this time of year.  I will not make my reservations until a day or two before the trip.  At that time we should have a firm head count and then make our reservations so that we are all in the same area.  We usually camp in the back of the campground away from the road.:)
