Oceanside Campout June 2-4

IIRC, we are doing a Saturday breakfast potluck and a Saturday evening dessert get-together, is that right?  I have no idea at this juncture what we'll be making....
 
 
 Moose--Lay low and don't draw any attention to yourself.  You (okay, I) don't want anyone noticing you all of a sudden and telling you that you need to be at the sales meeting.

YES on the breakfast...I never really got a thumbs up on Saturday night...it was just a suggestion that I had made.  BUT I would NEVER EVER stop you from cooking DO desserts Lori...NEVER!;)   Dee's making "Cactus Coolers" on Sat. night too.  I'll probably bring the makings for s'mores.

We are so glad that in the end everyone can join us!!!!  (thinking positive Moose!)  I can't wait!!!!!!

There will be 4 of us.
 
Someone was asking before about beaches.  Since we live, oh, say 40 minutes away from where the campout is, we know a tad about the beaches here.  The best one that is nearest to where we'll be is Carlsbad beach.  Oceanside can be O.K. (some parts), but Carlsbad is great.  Besides, right across the street from Carslbad beach is a Great Mexican Restaraunt.  Mexican, anyone???

Sorry to hear Brian that you were laid off. Things always work out for the best. You'll probably find a job that requires less traveling, more $$$$ for you, and more time to go camping.

I'll be bringing my fishing gear. Went fishing for a couple hours Sat & Sun am and came back with a couple nice trout. Yum yum.
