Okay Lisa, help me out ...

As I understand the first post, we're responsible for contacting Newport Dunes for any night after our first night.  So, if I'm coming in on Friday & want to stay until Monday I need to call them, tell them I'm with SCCampers & that I want to stay 2 extra days.  They'll give me the same rate since I'm with a group, right?

Hi, Laura,

You have already paid me for Friday night.  Saturday night is reserved, just not paid for yet.  So, don't worry about those two days.  If you are planning on staying Sunday night, then yes, you need to call Newport and reserve that night.  And, you will get the group rate--just tell them you are with Sccampers.  You get the group rate for two days prior to our rally, and two days following our rally (official rally is Friday and Saturday nights).

So, I think I might have confused some people.  You have all paid for Friday night (plus the extra site).  All of you still owe for Saturday night--$36.30.

I am not an experienced wagonmistress...and only asked for the first night's $$...as that is only what Newport asked for.  I should have asked for the entire cost of $82.60.  Whoops!  But, I didn't.  So, you can just pay me the remaining $36.30 at the rally (I will have my hubby hunt you down).   Sorry for any confusion....mine!!  :confused:

If you are coming in on Thursday night, or planning on staying Sunday night...make sure you call Newport to reserve the nights (it is still $36.30/night).  I won't have confirmation of site numbers for another week or so.

My oldest daughter turns 14 on March 23rd.  I would like to celebrate with a cake on Saturday evening maybe around dinner time.  Are we having a potluck dinner that night?  Anyways, let me know if this could be worked into the days activities somewhere.  I pm'd you as well.   Thanks!!
