EASTER 2008--Newport Dunes

Only 18 days until our Easter Rally!  Yahoo!!  

Okay, just some things to keep in mind....
--We will do a Saturday morning and Saturday evening potluck.
--Those who plan to have the Easter Bunny visit your site for Easter morning, please bring 12 filled plastic eggs for each of your children.
--There is an Easter Hunt done by the campground on Saturday for the kids, bring an Easter Basket/Bucket for them.
--PopUpMomma and Allen Family did a great job decorating for Easter last year...feel free to bring decorations for your trailer.
--It is a great place to ride your bike, so you might want to bring it.
--There is a heated pool, so don't forget your bathing suits.
--Bring firewood.  
--Campground schedule of events on first page is updated.

I will probably think of more things...these are just off the top of my head.

My oldest daughter turns 14 on March 23rd.  I would like to celebrate with a cake on Saturday evening maybe around dinner time.  Are we having a potluck dinner that night?  Anyways, let me know if this could be worked into the days activities somewhere.  I pm'd you as well.   Thanks!!

and a note on firewood: Viking will not be there so we have to use my fire pit which is much smaller (yes I have fire pit envy ) so firewood cannot be any longer than what you buy at the store.

If someone has a Large firepit they want to bring instead, that would be great. I believe the rule is it has to be at least 12" off the ground

When I signed up for this I looked at the schedule Lisa posted on LAST year's activities -- April dates.  Well.  That's what I planned for, since that's when my Spring Break is.

Shoot.  I'll be able to come, but only for 2 nights.  Have to be back in school on Monday.  

Now I have to find somewhere to go during Spring Break!!

yeah Easter is screwy this year, really early.  We didn't sign up for this rally since it was ON easter.  We do things with family that day.  As for spring break ours is April 7-11, I THINK we are going to take the kids to Calico.  I have always wanted to go...

I'm sorry!  Our Spring Break is April 7th, too.  It so stinks!!  Me and the girls are going home on Sunday....Bran is staying Sunday night.  And, to top it off....parent conferences start the day after Easter, for that week!!  Our district really wanted to make sure we had no chance of enjoying our Easter!

Hey, Laura, BTW....with my district maybe cutting 20-1 in primary....I may go back to teaching 5th grade or am thinking about teaching middle school English for next year.
