Dee--Just to clarify...

Are we doing the "cook-your-own-meat-and-contribute-a-side-dish" thing (easy, Brian) both Saturday and Sunday? And then is the breakfast potluck just Saturday morning? I can't keep it all straight...:eyecrazy:

at this point our family will not be joining in on the meals...we'll be lucky if I get everything ready and go. if it wasn't for the fact it's so close to my house I would bail on this campout all together.....right now for me  to organize and think about one more activity ...I will have a complete mental breakdown and Dan will come home and find me staring at the wall and completely unresponsive(back off brian!)

of course, I reserve the right to change my mind again & again & again......

right now I'm just sooooooo DONE!!!!!!

Oh Darn!  I won a wonderful looking coffee cake at Matt's Boy Scout meeting last night and was hoping to share it with everyone.

doesn't mean you can't make it ans share.  It just sounds like there is no organized potluck, so I will be sure to bring our food so we have it.

just because I'm not committing doesn't mean there isn't. I'm not sure how I became keeper of the schedule. Oh Wait I know I started this thing.. :rolleyes:

so please plan away..I believe there was a Saturday breakfast potluck & dinner potluck being :BBQ your and bring your own Burgers, steaks, etc and bring a side dish to share....

I'm just not commiting to anything at this point except taking the kids swimming,
cocktails and a campfire.  Oh & I bought a really cute craft kit for the kids that I was hoping someone else would love to take charge and gather the kids and do..

and who knows after being there Friday nite, relaxing and having cocktails,  I may change my mind and a suitable store bought option may happen..

ok we will try to bring something sat morn and sat night.  
Sat morn probably German pancakes,
sat night the sweet corn stuff. (what would I do without the dutch oven?)

I will make a sausage/apple/cornbread DO dish for breakfast and a pasta salad and dessert for saturday evening.

Being the weather isn't cooperating, count us out on swimming.

I was so worried it might be a scorcher this weekend...and now look at it!!  Well, at least we won't be home in our house.  

For the morning potluck, we will do a scrambled egg dish.  For dinner, we are doing a sliced potato dish.

Well it wouldn't be a sccamper weekend without some sort of weather.  It will be fine, not sure about swimming though.  we'll see
