just heard from dawnne, three stiches, just like dad...I am so proud!

We were at the roller rink, he went to the bathroom with skates on, and wiped out while near the can I guess, I wasn't there, and he was too upset to talk about it.  He will tell llots of stories next week I am sure.

COOL!!!! The stitches will have been in for 10 days........we can all sit around and watch you take 'em out......right after breakfast.

Kara & I are coming in on Thurs :-() her class party is now on WED so I'm going to take her out about 2pm. I will get kevin after school on Friday and Dan will be there Sat. afternoon.

Plans? Beyond getting me and my boys there?
Oh- potluck.  Those mini-sausages again for breakfast and some sort of beef for dinner. Probably some variant of teriyaki.
I need to get off my rear and figure out what I'm going to feed the kids. The quantity and quality of what they will eat, and the size and strength of the complaint department is growing. mini-teenagers.
Note to self- include alcohol in those plans. It's going to be needed after I back in and ponder how the whole full hookups thing went again.  Oh, and I can tote the expresso machine along...

Valentine craft reminds me I need to get something to leave at home. More planning!

Stitches are a good thing on the chin. If you want to see the results of a botched glue job, check Edwin's chin. According to a Dr. friend who took a look at him a few days after he was glued said that facial skin moves around too much to heal properly with glue.  We can compare scars at the campsite.

I'm bringing French Toast Sticks w/ Strawberry syrup
Dee's Breakfast Burritos
Wavery's Frittata
Shirleen Cereal/milk
 
Valentine craft after breakfast (I will have supplies from Oriental Trading for 36 kids/wannabe kids to make a Valentine).
 
Bike riding, Balboa Bars, etc.
 
Cocktails at 5:30--Hoagie's Ketel One Cosmos!
Saturday p.m. potluck at 6:00 p.m.
I'm bringing spinach salad w/ bacon and egg
Dee's salsa pinwheels
Wavery's DO Meatball and Penne Pasta
Shirleen BBQ Crockpot sausages
 
I'll add to both these potluck menus if you let me know--otherwise it will be a true pot-luck which is fine by me.
 
Campfire and poker to follow....($5 buy-in)
 
Sunday--more of the same (eat, drink and camp!)

Everyone that has an EZ-Up might want to bring it along so we can cover the food for the pot-lucks (in case it rains).

A lot can happen in a week but for now it doesn't look good.

Schedules can be so complicated.  It looks like we won't be coming in till Sat am.  Shayda has softball till 6:30 and Cyrus can't get away from his plans till 6.  What's the point about pulling into the site at 7:30 and hooking up in the dark...Farzan does not get off till 7 anyway.

I want to leave at 4am, but as I am reminded, it's not just about me anymore.    

See you all Saturday am...At least it is a 3 day weekend, so we still get 2 nights.

Dave Jim will be happy to help with your rig.......Not to worry I would have answered you sooner but I've been out of town in Vegas........Had a blast no I didn't win any money but I sure left some there.......Hahaaaaaa
I have so much to do to get ready with being out of town have to unpack wash and repack my stuff and go to a luncheon on Wed. Wow what a week......

aaack the weather forcast keeps getting worse....But we're SCCampers we're not afraid of any rain. besides we have camped lots were we get most the rain at night and the day is ok.

I'm thinking if anyone has an ez-up to bring it. 4 to 6 of them should cover the extra site unfortunetly  don't own one

FIREWOOD: Don't forget To bring some  and also we HAVE to use a portable firepit so the logs have to be regular size not giant ones.

Does the dunes not have fire pits??  If so we will bring our portable one.
