Below is this years pricing information for the ghost town event. It will probably be the same for next year but I will have to check at a later date.
 
I called Calico and they do offer discount pricing for groups BUT NOT FOR EVENTS.

I know Calico is doing the same stuff we usually do (costume contest, trick or treating) but it will be less crowded if we do it at the campground. We'll see what the concensus is about our activities.

I don't know what we'd use the sewer for anyway. Sounds like a smelly situation to me

Then why the heck are we driving all the way out there? we can do our own thing anywhere.

Is that a group rate they gave you or is that the normal rate?
if it's the group rate will they extend it to a day earlier &  a day later?

Halloween 2008 is on a Friday. to be safe We should maybe book it for Oct 24th weekend. It looks like they normally do it 2 weekends prior to Halloween but with it falling on a Friday they may have it that weekend.
We will not go Halloween weekend

oh tell DH campground maps are something to save. I have them in a file folder. Hopefully they will send you one

I haven't heard from Terry yet (KOA), I'll call him again today.  When I talk to him, I will ask him how much of a discount he gave us as the group rate.

I thought Calico would be would be fun for all that Calico has to offer for Halloween.  We can experience Calico and then do whatever.  We can do the trick or treating in the town (that might be fun) and also participate in their costume contest (might be crowded) or do the contest at camp where our kids compete against eachother.    
 
DH is trying to scan our faxed copy of the campground into the computer but he fogot how to post it.  I'll have him work on it again tonight.
