We are site # 15, only thing left anywhere near you guys

As odd as this may sound.....it will be my pleasure.  And, I noticed that you are in the site next to us.  I don't know how far that is but since your site has no electric, maybe we can figure out a way to splice into mine.  I have some stuff I'll bring.  Unless you are 1000' away I'll make it happen.  We just won't be able to use the AC but it should be cool enough to not need it.

my site doesn't have electric either
I'm hoping one of you generator owning people will bring one for me to plug into so I can make breakfast burritos

SURFcampers

Dee - We have a Honda 2000 generator that is silent! It's still in the box - never been used.  With our new TH having one, we have no use for it....We'll bring it for you to use!!

Make sure you get a Yellow cord.  The orange thin cords are thin wired.  The thicker the wire the better, especially for long distances. The thicker the wire the more current that passes through it.   I have a yellow cord and I use it alot so it's a good investment.

cool I love the Honda 2000's but ever having the extra $900 for one will be a looooong time. what kind of gas do I need to bring to run it? reg unleaded 85 or the premo stuff and how much?

The cheaper :p  gas is fine Dee. That's what I use in mine.

I know where I can pick up a 2nd hand Honda EU2000i generator (in good condition) for $700, if you're interested.

I can't afford to buy gas in this town. It's $389 per gallon down the street. Of course....that's "Full Service" .

full service?? I didn't know that existed anymore...oh I forgot It's Beverly Hills where the rich & famous can't do anything for themselves..

when I got gas last it was $2.79

$700 is a good price, but, not in my budget anytime in the near future.  Now that my wiring is fixed I don't mind dry camping..What it comes down to is how much do we want Breakfast burritos??

Most CG won't let you run the gen until 10:AM anyway. You are welcome to come over and cook them at our camper. What do you cook them in and how long does it take? I have an inverter and a pretty good battery bank. I can run the microwave for about 30 minutes on the inverter, if that will help. I'll just have to run the gen for the rest of the day to charge the batteries back up :p  but that's fine with us. :sombraro:

Rules...I don't need no stinking rules..

honey ..haven't you figured out by now that I'm a rebel.. if kids can start running around a screaming at 7 or 8 am then I can have a generator on. The generator is MUCH quieter  :p besides everyone around me except #27 is our group..
