I agree...Samantha's not in soccer this year (her choice) so we have guilt-free camping this fall.  
Maybe you guys can come up for one night after the game!

Oh, quite a sight to see....trying to get 5 and 6 year-old girls to run and get the ball, go in the right direction, and keep their fingers out of their noses. Lots of fun!!

I coached Griffin's AYSO 5-6 year old team. We missed at least 3 weeks for camping. Plus I missed the season ending party while I was camping at Campland. You can miss a few games. I guarantee that the other kids on the team will at least miss 2 games. So join us. Trust me you will not be flaking out.

The girls don't want to miss their games.....so, it's fine.  We are missing for Halloween....and then, for Campland, we will be driving home for the games, and coming back to Campland (their games are in the morning...done by noon...so that is good!).  

We'll be there with ya in spirit!

Wayne, did you find out if you can put your kayak in or where your going? Our neighbors are moving and gave Ashlee their blow up kayak and oars. Thought maybe we would bring it along and try it out.

well my original plan was to have Dan take the day off and the kids not go to school, but since Kevin has missed the first 4 days of school, I better not he is only allowed 9 days the whole semester

Kevin gets out at 2:10 so I figure we will be on the road about 3:30. we should be up there by 6 pm I would imagine

Speaking of Potlucks....Remember, this is an area where there are Bears present!  So we have to make sure we pick up the food after the potluck.  Our trailer has no tenting so I feel a bit more comfortable, but none the less......

We have to go to the house in Running Springs to do some work on the plumbing for the tenants.

I think that the closest place to put the kayak in would be Big Bear. I don't know if you can put it in at Arrowhead. That is a private lake. Give them a call.

You don't even need to do that.....I do a pretty mean bear call and it goes on most of the night. It must sound like a pretty big mean bear because there's never been a bear sighting within miles of our camper at night :sombraro:
