It's the end of the world as we know it, it's the end of the world as we know it..........

Maybe it is for you, but not for us in the upper midwest.

When's my turn coming?  Uh, I'm pretending never.

I have been worrying about everyone down south.  I am relieved to know that Estelle and her family are fine.  All I could think about was them as I was watching the news last night about Rancho bernardo.   I have all my fingers and toes crossed for Lori and dave.  Hopefully, the aweful wind will stop soon.   Wayne keep us posted on your families too.

I will keep all of you in my prayers.

I am headed down that way this weekend for 2 family functions.  If anyone needs anything please don't hesitate to ask.

It's not as smokey here in Santa Clarita today, so that makes breathing eaiser. I did hear that another life was claimed due to the fire here though. You can still hear helicopters and planes flying over going to the Magic fire which started yesterday about 2 miles from my office. all my employees are back to work that were affected by the Canyon Country fire except for one, and she was supposed to be able to get back into her house today. So far everyone I know up here has gotten lucky and has avoided tradgedy.

Where is the Help? FEMA? FEDERAL GOVERMENT? MILITARY? HILLARY CLINTON?

News is now estimating 750,000 people displaced and evacuated, whats the plan for helping them?

I wonder how much water that 747 would carry, the DC10 they use now carries
1250 gallons of H20 or fire retardant, the DC10 costs $41,000 per day to operate, A SMALL drop in the bucket considering life/homes not lost by its use.

Hey, Lori and Dave....is the fire away from you?  I heard they are evacuating Trabuco and Live Oak Canyons.  I hope Live Oaks Steakhouse is okay!!!

Everyone keeps calling me...our postal address is Trabuco Canyon...but, we're not in the actual Trabuco Canyon...so my family in LA is freaking out, offering to come down with their trucks to help us evacuate.  Very sweet!  I keep telling them the fire is about 5-6 miles away...and they think that's not very far.  I guess not...but, we still have blue skies above.

We heard RSM is now on alert status....

We are still not out of the woods - the fire is just over the ridge about 1/2 mile away. Luckily there is very little wind. Last night the fire almost went onto Griffin's school. But we should be okay. Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers. No planes or helicopters in the air, but the fire fighters have been great!!!!
